Who Is the Gosewriter?

A writer, a comic book nerd, a bibliophile, a foodie, an outdoor adventurer, and a musician walk into a bar. The bartender says, "Hey Matt!"

My name is Matt Gose. I am the Gosewriter.

To me, creative expression-  a song, a poem, a story, a dish, a picture- is truly about connection. Nothing enlivens my spirit more than the challenge of communicating an idea or an emotion to another person in a way that inspires deeper thinking, genuine feeling, and inspired movement towards something greater.

Born and raised in San Diego County, I find inspiration in the breathtaking seascapes, diverse culture, and quietly ambitious spirit of Southern California. My professional writing career began in 2009 as a photographer and jouranlist for The Chariot student newspaper at Mira Costa College. In 2011, I graduated with a BA in Literature from Point Loma Nazarene University. I have spent the last 8 years teaching and tutoring writing as well as doing freelance work as a writer and editor for various websites, companies, and publications. 

I am committed to creating unique writing that doesn't compromise authenticity.

My style is fluid in its capacity to adapt to the project and the client, yet firm in its consistent quality.
